St Gabriel’s CofE Academy sits at the heart of this new community and is passionate about retaining a link with the site’s heritage as a centre for global communication. Known locally as the ‘mast site’, it was formerly home to twelve 820ft masts, which helped pioneer global communications in the 1920’s.
The school is located close to several important transport links in the region and as such, aims to provide quality before and after school care for families travelling to and from work.
